Village house and barn for sale
Village house in Candamo for sale, includes a barn and small garden. The house is around 70sqm on two floors and has three bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen plus a small bathroom as well as a store room behind the house with external access. There's also attic space which is handy for storage. Mains water and electricity are connected, but the house requires a complete renovation. Situated on the edge of a small rural village, close to nature with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, this is a great property if you enjoy the peace and quiet of rural life and don't mind being 5 minutes away from the nearest shops, bars etc.
The barn is a two storey structure however the first floor is no longer there, it's a large open space at the moment so a whole new floor would have to be included in the renovation of this building. It sits next to the house with a track between the two buildings which allows access to the garden behind the house. The village does have other inhabitants , but only about 12 people currently living there full time.
Every day a van visits the village to sell bread and other provisions such as fruit, groceries and tinned goods, so if you only want to go into town once a week to do the shopping, there's always a daily van in case you need extra supplies. The nearest town is Grado which is a quick 8 minute drive and Pravia is only 22 minutes in the other direction. You can reach the city of Oviedo in around 25 minutes or the beaches of La Arena in the same amount of time, so you're never too far from anywhere.
