Farmhouse for sale in Grado
A large farmhouse for sale, with a decent amount of flat land and several outbuildings, in the council of Grado. This century old property is located in a pretty aldea in the Grado region of Asturias. If you're looking for a home with income potential, this could be for you. The property consists of a large farmhouse on two floors, a large two storey barn and a panera, plus several additional outbuildings all enclosed within a walled and gated courtyard.

Farmhouse
The main property is in need of renovation, but the structure and roof are in excellent condition. The entrance to the house takes you into a reception area with a staircase leading up to the first floor. Beyond the stairs is the kitchen which is the only room on this level. The kitchen has a traditional cocina de leña installed which would have been used to cook on and heat the whole house. There's a window in the back wall which brings light into the room and a seating area. Mains water and electricity are connected to the property. On the first floor, the stairs open out onto a landing off which is a child's bedroom and the bathroom which has the original 1920's bathroom suite still installed. Behind the landing is the large dining room with a window at the far end and several more doors leading off to various bedrooms and a gallery which was used as the lounge. Once outside you will see a covered patio area next to the front door, which could be incorporated into the house to create more living space. Next to this is an animal pen which again could be cleaned out and used as additional accommodation creating a large two storey property.

Panera
In front of the farmhouse is the traditional panera which has already been converted into a single bed apartment. On the ground floor in the brick built store room is the small lounge, kitchen and bathroom and above this, in the actual wooden panera itself, is the double bedroom. This habitable building is also connected to mains water and electricity and has a wood burning stove in the bedroom.

Barn
Behind the farmhouse is the large two story barn which, once converted would make excellent rural tourist apartments. The ground floor space is currently used to house the cattle which live on the land and the first floor is where the hay is stored. There's also an open area at the far end of the barn which could also be enclosed to create another two storey apartment if desired. Between the panera and the farmhouse there are several outbuildings and store rooms.

Land
The 6,000sqm of land included with the property, is adjacent and directly accessible from the house and is completely fenced all around the perimeter. The land is very flat and easy to maintain. There are currently cows and chickens occupying the land which helps to keep the grass down.
