Old house to restore in Grado
Here we have a really old house, probably built before 1900 and still standing, but in need of some serious TLC. The house has been empty for around 50 years so it's not surprising that it needs some restoration work carried out. It sits in a very peaceful environment, on the edge of a small aldea, about 5km outside Grado. The house has a kitchen on the ground floor with a fireplace and the lovely original old staircase leading up to the first floor. There are a lounge and two bedrooms as well as what used to be a toilet on the first floor.
The whole of the interior of the house will need renovating as well as some of the floors and ceilings, but the walls and roof are in good condition. To the left of the property is a small building plot which can be built on, to be either incorporated into the main house or used as a garage for example. To the right of the property is the traditional hórreo (grain store) which also appears to be in good condition although I was not able to go inside.
Mains water and electricity are available as well as fibre optic broadband connection. These old houses are very popular right now and this one is a real bargain at this price. Please contact me if you would like more information or to arrange a viewing.
