This is a quirky, traditional, Spanish cave house with great views over the popular village of Galera! The side entrance opens into the sunny kitchen. The kitchen has been updated and has nice views. Through the kitchen, straight ahead is a back door to the courtyard. This courtyard could be opened up with windows to the front and/or side for a charming outdoor dining nook with views.
A side passage from the kitchen leads to a sitting area that could be a dining room, then to the salon. From the salon, a corridor into the mountain leads to the other parts of the cave-house: There is a bathroom to the right with a small window that opens to the unreformed part of the cave. At the foot of the stairs, to the left is a small double bedroom. To the right are 2 small cave rooms that loop around to the courtyard which opens to the kitchen. Part way up the staircase is a cosy bedroom on the right. At the top of the stairs are two bright, airy double bedrooms with views over the village.
This cave house offers lots of potential. The windy, quirky layout offers privacy. The unreformed rooms could be made into a utility room and/or an additional bathroom.
This cave is a short walk down to the village centre, with tapas bars, restaurants, shops and the weekly market. Galera is a relaxed, welcoming international village that hosts traditional holiday events, concerts, and summer festivities. The village has a community summer swimming pool and there is a nearby year-round swimming pool. Hiking and mountain biking in the stunning Badlands are possible year round.
