The property is loacted in the small whitewashed village of Ferreirola, one of the most beautiful and picturesque Moorish villages of Granada province, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Ferreirola is one of seven villages making up the historic municipality of La Taha, with Pitres as its capital. It is possible to walk from the village to all of ther other six. Many of the walking paths of the area pass through the village. The G142 route, which traverses the whole of the Alpujarras, offers varied and stunning landscapes, as well as other routhes such as the newly signposted 'Ruta Medieval'. The village is known for its many artisan shops, potteries, art exhibitions and weavers. The historic city of Granada can be reached in just under 90 minutes. The coast is just an hours drive away.
