It has become popular with tourists and it is often described as the “gateway “ to the whole area. There are excellent bus services which connect Orgiva to the coast, Malaga, Lanjaron and to Granada. There is a large market on a Thursday and the town has a new municipal swimming pool and football pitch.
Airport can be reached in 60 minutes and the beaches in 35 minutes
