Off the driveway and through a gate, you enter into a lovely patio area with mature planting, fruit trees and plenty of outdoor seating. The village has a lively bar and daily deliveries of bread, fish, meat etc. This cortijo would make the perfect home for both holidays or full-time living for those wishing to explore the allure of Spanish culture.
Fuente Alamo in Jaen province is a small village belonging to the town of Alcala la Real. The village is on the slope of a small hill, which goes to the Muriano ravine. The two main fiestas held in the village are on 7th October & 13th June. 7th October – Festivity of Virgen del Rosario is the main festivity of the Fuente Alamo in Jaen. In the evening, there is a procession of the Virgin. 13th of June – Festivity of San Antonio de Padua. People enjoy the day together celebrating and at the end of the day there is also a procession of the Saint.
