Located in the lakeside village of Las Carrasca close to the large Town of Martos this is an ideal holiday home or for full time living there is no work needed and the house has been updated and maintained by the current owners who have also retained many traditional Andalucian features.
On entering there is a family lounge with an air con unit, beamed ceilings and a large wood burner. There is a front facing window allowing lots of light into it. The first area which has water has a large dining area with a covered pergola ideal for enjoying al fresco eating, there is also an open storage area to the left. To the rear there is a separate area housing wood for the burner then a lovely area with a jacuzzi and sun beds for enjoying the sun.
Stairs from the kitchen lead to the first floor where there is a landing area and to the rear is a good sized double bedroom with air conditioning unit and beamed ceilings and then to the front a larger master bedroom which is a double however currently being used as a twin again with beamed ceilings.
This is a peaceful location and a house ready to go ideal for holidays or for full time living.The current owners wishes to include most of the furniture in the sale price.
Las Carrasca is a lovely lakeside village falling under the Town hall of Martos in the Jaen province famous for olive oil production. The property is less than an hour from Granada and the international airport and approx one hour 45 from Malaga.The village has a bar opened at the weekends, a medical centre and is a five minute drive from Las Casillas which has 2 bars and 2 shops. The larger Town of Martos is less than a 10 minutes drive away.
