The basic structure of the SISMO® system building is a three-dimensional module. This module consists of a frame of galvanized steel wires. Efficient Insulation Thermal & Acoustic

This effective constructions energetically speaking, are now an essential element; therefore the requirements of an insulating coating have been emphasized globally and a priority in the building industry. The SISMO® system construction uses EPS or Expanded Polystyrene, an efficient insulation, the insulation material can be placed on the outside or inside, and there are no thermal bridges. With insulating infill panels, the SISMO® system buildings are completely and permanently insulated.

SISMO® system is the construction that provides permanent thermal and acoustic insulation, reduces thermal bridges and can be adapted to the insulation needs of different climates.

The strength of the SISMO® system structure, is far greater than the conventional construction method, and is proven with the tests and experience throughout the years. The modules of the SISMO® system construction are more durable and secure than the traditional construction.

The superior design of the SISMO® system module provides maximum strength during concrete placement. Once complete, SISMO® system the structures reach an incredible structural integrity. The structural properties of the concrete material contained in the SISMO® system module are optimized and reaches the maximum potential.

A test carried out on a finished SISMO® system wall with a diameter of only 20cm, 8 cm of insulation and in the centre 10cm of the concrete core (S20® 4PS x 4PS) have shown that the wall can bear loads up to 3000KN.
If correctly placed concrete and polystyrene will not rot or decay, making a SISMO® system structure virtually maintenance free for many years to come.

The SISMO® system shares the concern by a more ecological and environment-friendly construction in several ways. The production process is non-polluting. Recycled materials can be used for the infill panels and using concrete walls instead of wood products helps cut down on the significant problem of deforestation. Using the eco-friendly SISMO® Building Technology significantly reduces jobsite waste.

The building constructed will be energy efficient thanks to the highly insulating characteristics of the SISMO® system construction and as such, will have a minimal impact on the environment.

Fire Resistant Building System
The assembled SISMO® system construction is a continuous monolithic concrete system, does not allow the fire to spread or horizontally nor vertically. This characteristic of being a fire-resistant building system is guaranteed by the European Technical Certificate (DITE 01/0001).
In compliance with the DIN 4102 rules, a self-extinguishing material is used, such as polystyrene.
