This Cortijo is located below the village of Yegen, the property is accessed via a track that is easily passable using a 4x4 vehicle. It is a very private spot ideal for anyone who wants peace and quiet, but not too far from the village.
There is a water deposit on the land, which feeds the house and provides water for irrigation. In the recent past much of the land has been cultivated in an eco-friendly manner, the new owners could easily carry this on. The land, terraced in many places is manageable and there is a wide variety of trees, bushes, herbs etc. plus a vegetable plot. Due to the eco-friendly nature of the current owners, the toilet is of the composting type and the grey waste is used on the land. This could be modified with the installation of a septic tank should the new owners wish to do so.
The roof was updated a few years ago.
Included in the sale, one terrace below the cortijo, is a yurt with wood burner, solar has been fitted, there is also a separate toilet. This is ideal for guests or workers helping on the land.
