Forespørgsel Detaljer:
This property is well located within the popular town of Martos in the province of Jaen, Andalusia. You can easily walk to bars, shops, banks and restaurants and all the other services the town has to offer. The townhouse is in a large street with parking available right outside. This compact property would be ideal for a single person or for a couple looking for a holiday home or for fulltime living. It has 2 floors and a basement.
You enter into a living room with log burner. Immediately to the right, are stairs taking you down to the basement. Further in on the right are stairs up to the first floor and straight ahead is a small kitchen and bathroom.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with nice views out over the town and countryside. It may be possible to build a small terrace off the bedroom to make the most of the views and offer more outside space.
The basement has a room which could be used as a 2nd bedroom or converted into a kitchen/dining area and a small outside storage area. There is also a small patio area.
The property is in need of some updating and cosmetic work but would make a lovely home once completed. All services are connected. The property would make a great holiday home but would also rent well to locals if you were looking for an investment.
The town of Martos is located on a western peak of the Sierra Jabalcuz mountain range. It belongs to the metropolitan Area of Jaén, and is considered to be the second most important city after the capital. Martos is believed to be the greatest producer of olive oil in Spain. The town is situated beneath the Cerro de la Peña, topped with the ruins of the castle of the same name. This compact town spreads out over the slopes of the hill, under the Castle of La Villa and the Church of Santa María. Its privileged location offers beautiful views over a vast sea of olive trees. There is a large outdoor market held weekly near the park and several fiesta's are held here throughout the year. This is the perfect town for those wishing to experience the true Spanish lifestyle.
